Lodges:
VILANCULOS BEACH LODGE:
This lodge is exclusive and private, and situated on mainland,
Mozambique, just outside Vilanculos. It lies directly
opposite the Bazaruto Archipelago in the tropical Inhambane
Province.
The chalets are luxury en-suite with either one or two
bedrooms, with veranda. Each chalet is built on ironwood
stilts with raised mahogany decks and a tasteful combination
of mahogany and reed walls. The chalets have total privacy. The beautiful restaurant and
bar offer traditional Mozambican and standard western
cuisine.
From the comfort of the lodge you will be able to explore
the exotic surroundings as well as have a perfect base
to explore any of the archipelago islands. Secure parking
for vehicles at lodge. Safe beach to swim, 2 swimming
pools and deck, boats and water sport equipment available.
PALMEIRAS SELF CATERING
LODGE:
On the beach in Vilanculos. 5 Double en-suite chalets
and a self catering villa situated in exotic tropical
gardens with a pool and a few meters from the beach. Walking
distance to shops and restaurants, access to numerous
activities including diving, fishing, island visits and
dhow cruises.
BAZARUTO LODGE:
HOW TO GET TO BAZARUTO
This lodge is situated on the northern tip of Bazaruto
Island. Transfer to the island from Vilanculos is either by small plane or boat.
The island is approx. 2 ½ to 3 hours flying time
from Johannesburg – either via Vilanculos or Maputo.
(Approx. 700 km North of Maputo).
ACCOMMODATION
The accommodation on the island is at Bazaruto Lodge Island
Resort, with rustic A-frame thatch chalets nestling among
the forested sand dunes. The comfortable, neatly appointed
chalets have en-suite bathrooms, and are serviced daily.
The Lodge restaurant caters to the enthusiastic appetite
of guests with a variety of delicious fresh seafood served
daily. The attractive open-air bar encourages guests to
meet new friends, while a sundown trip on a Dhow provides
a breath-taking way to end the day. There is also a fresh
water swimming pool, games room, conference facilities,
ski boating, yachting and Landover hire. The well-stocked
